Don’t Know How to Behave: D’Angelo – BROWN SUGAR
Known for his smooth vocals and rhymes, something that makes you want to relax and light an incense while you chill at home, D'Angelo perfected his style coming out with a debut album in July of 1995.
D'Angelo details his addiction to Black love using the metaphor Brown Sugar to title his single and his intentions. Coming off the album of the same name as well, Brown Sugar was released as a single in June to prepare the release of the album the next month. The single his #5 on US R&B, #14 on US Pop, and #27 on US Pop. The album charted Gold in the UK but went Platinum in the US.
