Ring My Bell was written by Frederick Knight and performed by Anita Ward in 1979, with the intent to originally be used for a young teen musician. The writer saw Anita Ward as a better fit and went on to record what is now known as her biggest hit song. There are claims that the song has no sexual inuendos but if you breakdown the lyrics, there can be no room for anything other than sexiness.
