Tone! is a GRAMMY-nominated and AMA-Award receiving Soul and R&B band from Oakland, California who took less than no time to steal hearts and smash the billboards with this number 1 on the US Billboard Hot Black Singles. Here's their music video, featuring their first hit song Little Walter, and the melody comes from the Negro American Spiritual song called Wade in the Water. This single is from their debut album Who? released by the record label subsidiary of Mercury Records called Wing Records. This song along with others on the album were produced by Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, who went on the help write and produce for their next album, The Revival.
