The Hardest Thing to Come By: Whodini – FRIENDS

Released in July of '84, this song ranked on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts and peaked at #4, while also reaching #87 on Hot 100. Friends was released as a single off the album Escape in October 1984. They also released another hit song from the same album called The Freaks Come Out At Night. Escape is recorded as the first Hip Hop album to chart the US Top 40 and one of the first to be certified Platinum by RIAA.
